Thanks Fabrice  :D

Yep, short kit is on the pipeline for that one  :D
Sometimes next year, or this year if we get lucky.
Hope to have the plan done by the end of the month. We'll see, still lots of work, but I have finally setup my office at home, so that might speed up the plan drawing!  :D

Looks good Fred. Where did you get Soildworks from. I want to learn how to use it as well but the software is very expensive.

Hey Alan,

You can get a Student edition, if you know one  :D  for (much) cheaper (wife is a teacher  :P ).
But I think the licence is limited in time, but that allow you to train with the software before spending the big money (you get a discount with the student version). So will see when the licence expire.

Otherwise, Dassault do a free version of a CAD program (They also do Solidworks), but I don't know if that cad do the 3d stuff things.

You can also have a look at Rhino 3D, much cheaper than Solidworks!

Hi Fred
What happened to your project ? Did it fly ?
My wife flew a Kranich last summer. It was from AP Models
and was 3,7m...
Flew very well.
Look at our forum, you'll see it.
Cheers,

Hi Daniel, Conny

Sorry for the late reply, crazy week(s)!  :!:  :!:
No real progress, I have a look at the plan from time to time. Wings need to be done, fuselage looks 90% completed.
Need days that last 48 hours!  :!:  :!:

I finish the Grunau, and this one will certainly jump up in the queue. That's the plan anyway  :?

Hey Conny  :D
I hope you have a supply of tea, as the wait can be long!
Haven't touched the fuselage since the last time. Just did a bit more work on the wings and that's it so far
