Well i think i have another machine that is a "must bring" when flying. This is a seriously fun little glider. As you may have guessed. It flies great. How i need to finish it. Glue the servos so they don't move on every (crash)landing and decide on how to secure the wing. Tried to get some video but didn't turn out too well.

Guess who is going to be the owner of one of these ? (Merci Kiki!  :D )



On another note, between 2 scale drawings, I have made a plan for a 1.2m and a 2m aerobat based on the Quark.
All wood construction for a change. They really sound like fun on paper, especially if that flies as good as the EPP one, and building should only take a couple of hours.

Nope, not a Air100, just a free inspired design... We call that RetroPR  :D
WS is 2.2m and more as soon as I have it in my hands :D  (Retroplane)

Hi all first time finding this site - how cool! I came across you guys from the Jivaro site where I discovered the Quark Mini... what an awesome plane! Good work, looks like it flies great!!

Cheers guys thanks for the warm welcome! :)

We are doing some fun stuff with ultralightweight builds of my Le Fish and Spindrift designs. My friend Swiss Peter has been able to get the Spindrift down to a ridiculous 13.7oz (388g) and the Le Fish down to 17oz (480g). Both planes are in the 1.5m wingspan class. Here's a video from yesterday flying in some crossed up conditions at Ellwood Mesa here in Santa Barbara, CA:

It's an exciting time for slope aerobatics!! There are cool projects going on all over the world, very thrilling for me!! ;)
