Well, what a good time. As always, it was a great pleasure to meet the people who I’ve previously only heard of, and to renew the acquaintances’ of those I’ve already met. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
Rather quiet in the lift department on the first day,
but Sunday afternoon proved to redeem my faith in Big L. to ‘deliver the goods.’
Alas not quite enough lift for “The Big One” :!: but I think most of everything else flew. Including a strange little ‘Bat Like’ model from Peter K, a picture of which I’m posting for the main benefit of a certain German pilot.
(What do you think of it Lothar?)
All sorts of models were there. From the super fast, to the super, and right down to the super silly. A blue V tailed Thingy that, having flown three or four time promptly went on strike and refused to fly any more, and crashed! ( I’ve since found out that the battery had an intermittent open circuit)
I’d like to thank all who came over the two days, too numerous to mention but who’s photos will, no doubt, be posted later on this forum. (I didn’t take many picies, and what I did take didn’t come out very well. I couldn’t be bothered to put my glasses on when I was taking them, so I’ve “cut off” peoples heads  ….Silly me!)
