Hi all,
I don't want to brag, but I will anyway
Finished first at the Macon TD Competition
When I saw who was flying it (some people who are senior competitors in European champs and beyond), I only joined to keep busy (and you get a nice bottle of wine for participating
).
Anyway, had the nice judges to explain the rules to me real quick, and off I went.
Long story short, I won the damn thing on the 3m+, in front of my hero Jean-Louis Coussot and Patrick Bossin (see photo), so I was chuffed!
I have to say, for my very first serious competition, it was really interesting! Tactics, timing etc, with a judge giving you timing every seconds on the landing phase, bunch of people looking at you, the stress of it! Loved it anyway
