It wasn't so bad down in Kerry on Sunday either , good to see everyone had a fun time . Italy in 2 weeks and more of the same and maybe a little less wet stuff and a bit warmer .

Should not be too hard to be warmer  :lol: (Although, great weather last night and today! Feels like summer over here for a change!)
Flew in Italy a few times, and if you get the chance to fly Alpine/VTR (in Italy or in the French Alps on your way in for that matter), this is definitively something else!

Anyway, back home now and to work :cry: , putting an end to 4 great days of slope soaring!
Again, thank you all for coming :clap: Sverrir (Bob) should be not too far away from landing now.

Now, just waiting for a report of the Irish delegation to Macon! Shame I could not be with you on that one  :cry:  :cry: Have fun over there!

A tad white on Sunday but we didn't let that stop us!

The view was quite nice.


Only one walk of shame for me but as the wind was on a holiday I didn't feel too bad about it!  




Monday wasn't looking to be a good day, dead calm and not even enough lift for the Libelle, so we went for a tourist drive of the countryside.
But as someone said good things come to those that wait and as the day progressed the wind picked up and we got a chance to do some climbing!

My word, some quite stunning pictures there. :shock:  (You like your multi passage shots don’t you) My favourite picture was  #25. I think that was very good. :clap:  ( I wish I could take pictures like that.  :roll: )

You had a fair range of flying conditions on your trip. Different slopes, different winds and you must have clocked up quite some flight times as well Sverrir. The only slope one you didn’t get a chance to fly was the West slope with the dreaded trees behind the landing area. They can make landing,…….er how to say this………..well, they can make landings “Challenging”  in strong wind conditions. May be next time?

I call him a ‘novice’ because he’s only been flying about 30 years :wink: ) (God he’s gonna kick my arse when he next sees me! )

So now you’ve flown off the Big L, I suppose we should all make the trip to Iceland and fly off of some of your (unpronounceable) slopes!
