Alright, time to get some old projects to move forward!
This time, next on the line, is my ASH25.
A few specs :
Fuselage lenght : 2.10m
Wing Span : 6.5m
Profile : E68 - 67 - 66 evolution
Weight : should be around 10 - 11 Kgs
The fuselage (look at that smily face!
)
The fuselage come from Gewalt, everything else will be hand made.
A bit of work was already done. I made the tailplane more than a year ago, and the wing cores were cut by Joe (thanks Joe  ).
And that take room!
As a reminder, I use this method for my wing spars :
http://www.gliderireland.net/index.php/techniques/vertical-wing-sparsWings will be in 2 pieces.
So first, you start with the wing sheeting, the top first. The sheets are linked the usual way for this kind of work, evrything is glued with PU, and bagged for 24 hrs.
That gives you this stuff :
You can see here the "channel" for the vertical spar, before being cut all the way through. This way the profile is not "disturbed".
With a screw driver in my case, remove the remaining foam, and free the slot for the spar
It is very important to do all the work on the wing, while they seat on their foam cores to make sure they are straight!
Like on the mini how to link, the spar is then added, and cut to size.
The spar will be epoxied in place, wrapped in carbone, and everything will be bagged to make sure everything stays where they supposed to be!
More photos soon! (still drying!)
