S2G Fox
« on: November 24, 2016, 08:09:01 AM »
Thanks Ralph!  :-*
Refurbishing work has started!
Pilots removed, as the plan is to make a proper cockpit. Wing tips cleaned up, and still wondering if I glue them, or not! (I am thinking smoke system...)
Nose cleaned up, and ready to redo it (was converted to electric).
Then, Tow hook install.
That's going to be fun!  :)
Education is important, but flying RC planes and gliders is importanter!

YYeeeeeeaaaa! I made some (small) progresses!
Plan is to have it ready to fly by Saturday!

Phase one is now completed with the help of epoxy :)

Nose cone block now glued in place.
It will be cut, then sanded to shape. Bought some P38 on Sunday to finish it off.

I glued the canopy lock also, so we are good to go in this area too.
And while I was at it, re-glued the servo trays etc, and planned the spot for the tow hook servo.
Canopy cleaned up, and cockpit interior will be planned after the first flight if that thing is still alive :)

Thanks again Ralph! :)
