and excellent stability in a training aircraft. why aren't all trainers built like this? i don't know for sure but maybe it's the construction. to give you an idea of what's involved in building a wing like this, stand with your arms outstretched with your palms turned down, now raise your arms for dihedral, bring them forward for the sweep and now twist your palms so that your little fingers are above your thumbs. great fun, and the cause of many sleepless nights trying to figure it all out. well worth it in the end though when you see it flying

outstanding workmanship andy, well done!!!!! hope you enjoy it for many years to come. mine is 24 years old this month and i still get a kick out of seeing it in the air. just love those forward swept wings.

my car (ford s-max) did that on me fred, going into limp mode. turned out it was a fuel injection (diesel) problem. have you checked that out?

all glider fliers welcome.
at the moment the forecast is for sw winds which is a very good slope to fly from.

forecast on wind guru mt leinster is for northerly winds, 12 - 15 kts, clear skies.
is that the car park area at the 9 stones?
by the way, we have started summer gliding on tountinna on wed nights. anyone in our area is more than welcome to join us on wed nights.

hi keith,
looks to be an interesting model but i have no idea either what it is. as i was saying on sunday, the air brakes are similar to those on the salto.
what's written on the tailplane trailing edges, the name of the manufacturer maybe? also, what's written under the cockpit?
any other info on where he bought/acquired it?
