Hello everyone,
Cork MAC are holding their glide in this weekend, Aerotowing on one day and sloping on the other, By all accounts it will be Kinsale but as always the final decision is to be made on the day.
If interested drop me a line

hi ralph, i'm free to fly on the sat. is the aerotowing on on sat and if so where will it be held? gb

HI Gerry,
sorry for not replying to your text, still looking at the weather, I think that we will be on the slope on the Saturday (Kinsale) and flat field on the Sunday ( Bandon) as the winds are SW on sat and have an Easterly element on the Sunday. Since the longest runway is East West this is the one used for flat field work.
Sorry this may not suit you. I'll give you a buzz this evening

Well, the weather was great, sun sun and more sun. Ger Buckley and a friend of his from Roscrea joined us (23 in total) on the Saturday, not to be outdone by Richard et al we also BBQed all weekend long, so far no reports of food poisoning.
Ger had fun aerotowing a beautiful Fox. As the winds were slack both days were held at our club site.
Plenty of Radians and Radian Pros spent hours picking their thermals to rest on.
Two large tugs were in attendance, a Piper Cub with Jack "the Hacker" Kelleher in command and yours truely with a Piper Super Cub.
Many thanks to all who attended and sorry we did not get to travel North.
