Hi Alan
The model is looking great, you are a good builder. Yes, no flying this weekend again, I think I need a flying fix soon!

Hi All.
Another update. I have built some prototype airbrakes and I made the airbrake appatures in the wings. I will probably redesign the airbreaks a bit after seeing the plans for Freds airbrakes on RC Groups.

The outer sections of the wings are now under construction.

I have finally built enough of the glider so that I can assemble it to see what it looks like. Still a LOT of work left to do. What do you think?

Thanks Lads. The main goal is to have it ready for Retroplane in July. If I can get it finished before that it would be great.

Thanks Lads.
The airbrakes do work fine. The only problem is because this is a 1/5 scale model the space available in the wing is not very big. So I need to tweak them a bit here and there to make them fit better.

Hi All.
I finally got some more work done on the Skylark 2. I was hoping to have it finished by now. But it is far from finished. Got a bit lazy.
The photos below show the work I did on the wing center section. I have installed the airbrake's and the airbrake servos. I have also done most of the sheeting.
Bottom sheeting and airbrake's
