In My Opinion (sorry :oops: )
DB9, at Maplin, Peats etc etc. I use that as this is easier to solder for me (and my poor skills!), and the other advantage, is that you have enough room to double / triple the contacts, or even use a bigger plug, like the DB12, but that's really for big models, a bit OTT (Over The Top
) for a small ish glider.
You can have DB9 with gold contacts too, but the MPX (Multiplex
) green plugs are fine too, just a question of taste (and soldering habilities in my case!)
