a question about the futaba c7

i am moving to 2.4 gh and have decided to go for the futaba 7c fasst.i fly both heli and planes.i am trying to decide what one to get,if i get the heli mode the throttle stick will be no good for planes,if i get the plane mode with the racheted throtle stick would it be possible to remove the rachet to loosen the stick up for heli flying?

Don’t know much about flying helie’s I'm afraid, but here’s a link to the 7C 2.4 manual. It should tell you if the ratchet can be removed.
