Dust off the depron CMAC indoor flyin 14th Nov 2009.
Hall in Middleton Co. Cork from 1.00p.m. till 6.
Freeflight, RC planes and helicopters all welcome
There will be a small fee for the cost of the hall.
Plenty of home baking to eat on the day.

Well,…….. I’ve just brought a little indoor flyer.

Don’t know if it’ll be ready by then, there’s a lot of work going on in the workshop right now. :!:
But,……… :?: if it’s flyable, and if someone promises’ to hold my hand, and everyone promises’ not to laugh at me when I crash………I might come down to Cork,......... and eat some Buns.

I'll be there! I think Stu and Eanna are coming too.
Time to dust off the depron. They hardly got an outing last year!

Dave,

You won't regret giving it a go. Indoor is a little nerve racking at first but you'll get the hang of it quickly and it's great fun. There's no better way to improve your flying, it's especially good for getting you better acquainted with the throttle and rudder.

There's an Index 3.0 prototype.
It only had one outing at the end of last season. It flew well but needs some tuning. I'm hoping to get a chance to fly it again before Cork.
Did you build an Index 2.2?

I think Eanna and Stu will have F3P planes too, as I'm sure will Richard if he's coming. Should we agree a simple F3P schedule for an informal competition?! :wink: (....not sure we should let Richard play, he'll just make us look silly :?: )
I'll be bringing my original 2.2 and the 3. I might throw together an EPP delta for messing around if I get time.

No prob on the buns front ralph. I will bring some along. This will no doubt make me completely immune to the un merciful slagging when my model smashes into a wall 30 seconds after take off.... :lol:

Anyway the only indoor model i own is a GWS tigermoth. this is the larger version but it is all foam and is a pretty slow flyer. I think I should be able to manage a couple of indoor flights with it. At least it says it is suitable to fly indoors on the box... :?:
I also have a little foam cessna park flyer. but it could be a little fast for indoors. Might leave that one at home.

As for that F3P stuff. Way out of my league at the moment. But cant wait to see one of them fly.

I reckon the F3P style planes are probably the easiest planes to fly indoors. Not so easy to perform an F3P schedule with them though!
