hoping to re-kick off the season with a flying meeting in Cork on July 11 and 12th. All welcome but preregistration is essential so we can accommodate all interested flyers.
Aerotow and or slope but the aim will be for Aerotow. We can tow small models up to 10kgs.

I have been asked by the host club Cork Model Aero Club to pass on a few items of note for this event to make sure we all have a safe and fun time.
1. Covid 19.
1 a. Contact Tracing. All attendees must pre register and provide full personal details for contact tracing. Details must be presented to the club committee prior to the event.
1 b. The standing club rule for cabins/meeting rooms on club facilities stands. These will remain closed as social distancing cannot be controlled within the buildings/cabins etc.
1 c. Social distancing measures must be adhered to including model assembly, seating arrangements, ready box, airfield setup and pilot placement.
1 d.Government guidelines and club safety rules (attached) must be circulated to all non CMAC members attending, and acknowledgement of understanding recorded.
1 e Sharing/provision of food and refreshments. All attendees must bring their own food and refreshments.
2. General Club rules and etiquette.
2 a. All non CMAC members attending must be briefed on the permitted flying areas before flying in accordance with the club rules.
2 b. Internal combustion engines producing excessive noise are not permitted to operate. Refer to club rules for details
2 c Models with internal combustion engines may only operate after 9am on Saturday, and after 10 am on Sunday.."
All visitors will bring their own food/refreshment
Toilet facilities will be available.
