Good evening. I want to learn to fly model gliders. I am in South Dublin (Rathfarnham). Easy access to the slope past Kilakee. I have 2 gliders, never really flown.. is there a club locally?

Hi Soaring,
    the Island Slope Rebels is the only gliding club in Ireland. We have members in All parts of the country including Dublin, Limerick and Cork. Once things settle down a bit I am sure we would be happy to help.

Hopefully, after the 8th, a few of us will be within traveling distance to Kilakee (I am!  8)) and weather permitting, seeing the withdrawal we had, the slope will hopefully be busy! (but no hugs and kisses! 2m apart! :) ). Some of us are working from home, might be better to do a weekday trip to avoid the weekend tourists?
