Throttle cut on twin engines. Futaba 8U

Has anybody got the throttle cut function to work on a twin engine setup with a Futaba 8U or other transmitter?
I have mixed Ch3 to Ch6 for both engine throttles. But the cut function only works on ch3. Both channels are mixed and working fine. idle and full throttle working fine. Trims ok, I can cut both engines on the trim.
Is there something I am missing.
Any advise appreciated
Cheers

Dave,
simplest way to do that is a JR matchbox, bout $65, will let you match up to 4 servos I think on the one channel.

Thanks Ralph,
My old tranny is starting to show its age anyway, maybe this is the hint it is giving me to retire it and invest in the new technology.. :?:
Cheers
