1/10 scale Lancaster
« on: November 06, 2015, 09:44:06 AM »
Alright, so, this is something I am working on for a little while now (lots of work!) and this is a special request from Ronan.
His Grand Father came back from the UK on board of a Lancaster, and what's better to do in his memory than to reproduce this Lancaster!

The scale is 1/10, so that give us a 3m wingspan beast!

Not going to be an easy one, as we want it scale, but we want that thing to fly properly too! Oh, and must be ready for the next Macon meeting :)

Fuselage, the hard bit for me, is well on its way :)

I am using the experience gained with Benoit's Comet to use pretty much the same bold wing platform. We'll see if I am right soon enough! :?

Education is important, but flying RC planes and gliders is importanter!

If I do it, the model might just be ready for it's centenary celebrations.
