Cox 049 or Fuji049 (we can dream for that one!)
« on: January 15, 2018, 12:26:16 PM »
Before I hit the buy button on the Cox website, I ask here :)

Does any of you would have a Cox049 for sale? Ideally with the "normal" plug mod and silencer  ::)

Many thanks :)

Fred, have you looked at the ap wasp engine. Its a copy of the russian made norvel. Has throttle and silencer. I have the 1cc norvel in a control line model and and really impressed with it's performance.

Thank you both :) Sorted from Cork :) I forgot how old they are, so they do have lots of old stuff!  ::)

@John: thanks, I saw the AP... Was tempted I have to say, as they cost the same as a Cox, but I want to stay as close as possible to the original plane. Mine had a Fuji049... Apparently, they do cost quiet a lot these days, especially the ones like mine from the mid 70s apparently. I should have kept it  :'(
