As John said, on the way back, we stopped at St Malo
We also found a shop where a guy was doing scale ships / planes.. Amazing quality (and not that expensive considering the work!)
That one was made of aluminium, complete with seats etc etc
Back at Ronan's house, we then visited the D-Day sites and Pegasus Bridge Museum
Interesting tool to manage the CG of an Horsa glider...
And some more visiting
The memorial at the Pointe du Hoc site...
John (happy and proud) managed to climb a bump
Omaha Beach.. With some tourists that really need to get a room!!
At the back, the US cemetery
Then, it was time to deliver one of my plane to a local Museum dedicated to transport. Thanks Luc for the laugh, the tour and the drinks!
And John got tired at some stage...
Must be because of the attempt to play the "Clairon" !
I have a video of that
Then, visit to see BenBen... Proud to show us his new bicycle...
Roisin had to have a go!
We saw the Comet.. Stunning model!
Plan is to make it lighter now, time to design and cut some ribs!
For the ones who look for a model trailer...
Thanks Benoit for the visit and the coffee!
We then headed for more food!
And after a good night, time to head back to Cherbourg!
Mandatory visit of the Submarines museum at the "Cité de la Mer".
And back in the ferry...
For more drinks!
Goodbye France!
Once again, many thanks to Ronan and Isa
