Slope fun yesterday

While driving home along the coast yesterday I noticed some birds enjoying nice lift so after meeting the mates on the club field we decided to go on a road trip and explore the locations. As the notice was this short I only had my phone to document the trip but I'm sure we'll be back soon!
Regarding the location, as you might imagine we've got plenty of good places to fly at and the wind is no problem in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean but the problem is where to set the birds down afterwards! At location B we landed on the grass where the car is, about 500 meters back from the cliff.
The two places we flew, the dots are the car locations.
At location A.
Coffee gave some much needed warmness between sessions.
At location B.
Plenty of action as can be seen from the birds.

Some of it, also some bedrock, most of this area is covered in layers of lava.
Some model related trivia...
The worst lava to travel over is called Aa-lava, and as it would happen we just needed to recover a model from one of those few years ago!
