Near Cork, you have the CMAC (Cork Model Air Club)... Ralph, if you are around ?  :D
Big bunch of lads flying gliders in a really good atmosphere !
Contact Rogallo via the forum he might be able to help you !

PS : Ca fait un bail que j'ai pas vu David ! (Oui, Francais aussi...  :D  :P )
