Andrew I know how you feel mate it aint nice at all good view from those tree tops really trying to get away from happy days you know yourself the way he is lol
I shall ignore that comment Bren.
Just to elaborate, for the benefit of other members, Big Keith and myself were up on the Big L yesterday. We looked at Bren’s plane, still stuck in the tree top. Other people had made an attempt to retrieve the plane and someone had gone to the trouble of lashing 5 ten foot pieces of 2x1” timbers together (end to end) to try and dislodge the model.
The model had clearly been hit a number of times by this extraordinary long “stick” and had broken up, but the parts were still caught in the tree, linked by servo wires and flexible control rods which were caught on various branches.
However, Big Keith (or ‘Mountain Man‘,…whatever you want to call him) was very tenacious and refused to give up on the quest until all the parts of Bren’s plane were back on the ground! Well done that Man! for succeeding where Bren, I, and it seems many others, had failed.
And just to put the ‘Icing on the cake,’ apart from the Li-Po (which is unserviceable) all the other electronic parts still work!!! How About That for a result
