Hi ,

Right with what Joe is saying..
The Pb with Topmodel is the expensive shipping price and the delay for receiving your machine...
I've paid a receiver once 35 euros, 30 euros of p&p.. and 4 weeks to arrived...That was my last order in Topmodel...

But depending of what you are looking for, I can have a look for you in France .
Weymuller is very good, Copaero too...

Not looking at anything in particular yet, its just for future reference. Have to get my Pilatus flying properly yet. I also have a new hand launch glider to finish as well. Its called the Long Shot. Its actualy finished now just have to put in the radio gear.
Whats the Ventus like to fly.

I was dissapointed when i first got the Ventus.i was my first scale glider and i expected it to fly great.but it didn't.it was difficult to fly and stalled really easily and badly.not what i expected.
i talked to fred about it and he advised changing the incidence of the stab.this totally transformed the Ventus.it's now flys as you'd expect.it can be slowed to a crawl and flown just above stall for termaling and yet it speeds up pretty well too and you can really get it moving.it's not really an aerobatic ship but, with a bit of speed and height all the basics are no problem.high speed dives along the front of the slope are lots a fun as it makes a nice screech/scream as it cut through the air.
found some other people online with a similar problem with the stab incidence.i guess it's an issue with production.have just adjusted the incidence again, as the first time i did it i didn't have a incidence meter.so will have to retrim and balance(incidence affects CoG) next time i fly.
apart from the incidence problem it's a really nice glider to fly (for light to medium lift this what i fly) and it looks great! :D

It's 2.5 metres which is about 1:6th scale i think.Small compact body and long high aspect ratio wings. It's small on the ground for it's wingspan but,it looks bigger in the air.You can have a look on Sunday!  :D  :D
