bearpjk:
Hi guys
Does anyone know of good slope sites in the Leitrim / Sligo area.
My son and I are slope nuts and have been flying pss , slope racers and floaters, electrics and ic planes for the past 15 years. We havent flown anything for the last 7 months so its time to get organised and fly.
best regards
peter and matt

Hiya Guys
Welcome aboard!
Minaun Heights in Mayo. Huge west facing(i think) cliffs.
There are a few Mayo flying sites detailed here:

As well as checking the above i'll suggest searching for paragliding or hang-gliding in your area and finding out where they fly. Or get in touch with them for slope info. They are usually happy to help and have a wealth of info!
Where were you flying previously? Are you new to the area?
Joe
bearpjk:
thanks joe,
we have recently moved over from cape town south africa, where we have flown all over the place there, but mostly cape town.
we are getting our gear sorted out at the moment and will be flying somewhere round here soon

I don't believe it!
That's where I'm from (or, more accurately, Somerset West)!
We've been here 6 years already. What brings you to that part of Ireland?
:D Chris
