What I thought I'd do is rather than try to camouflage the wound, I'd make a feature of it. i.e. use a completly different colour and taper the new covering back down the side to the bottom of the fuse. It'll never look quite the same but the good thing is the wing covering is still perfect. I think the wings are it's best part
(Any ideas on how best to strengthen the fuse at the break?)
