austrian elefant scale 1-6

this am I doing now, Austrian elephant. because my pik sevens went fast to build, I thought to start with this. wings will have cores of foam, hope it holds together. there was more work with this model so it will probably not be ready this spring. we'll see.

Let's talk about wing aspect ratio after that!  :P
Education is important, but flying RC planes and gliders is importanter!

Five meters , and very small end wings, maybe a positiv spin on the wings is good for have a smooth fly

on Wednesday, my styrofoam wing cores to come will dress them with 1.5mm balsa. I have carbon fiber 10mm square with 8mm colfiber rod. thought to have 2 pieces of 50cm as vingjoiner. what do you think about this, will it last?

Oupps, it's been awhile since I updated the thread, 2013 should model has been completed. injured my right hand pretty bad. but now the model will slow to finish. some pictures will also come

Do you have a servo in each rudder? Or you use bellcranks?

yes Fred, I have one servo in each rudder, hope it will fly gently in thermik.
