Thank you for the warm welcome to the forum. As I had mentioned before, there are very few builders left in America in regards to scale sailplanes, so this medium is a life saver! I l ive in Florida, where the land is flat as a pancake, but the thermals are strong enough to lift your hat off your head:)
I have received a set of 1/3 scale Hal Cherokee drawings from a friend on the forums, I am cutting pieces for a !/3 Minimoa from Chris Williams and repairing my well worn Rosenthal Dg 600. I am impressed with the slope soaring around the world as I cut my teeth on the slopes of Torrey Pines in California many moons ago. I will be learning as much as I can from all of you in this forum and will post my progress. Thanks again for the warm welcome, Jose
