What lovely friends we have  :P

How's the building Andrew ?

I checked my carbon and have only 10mm at my house. Will check the workshop and see if there is 6mm.

balsa strip added on top  2mm x 10mm

and 2mm x 16mm balsa on the bottom

take my hat off to Fred the tabs on the top of the wing ribs are a brilliant job for keeping the wing straight while upside down

all ready to go all up weight is 428g and it took 70g of lead to get the cg set
now i'm using the main spar for the cg but the weight could change after a few flights

i'm using 4 turnigy tgy-1440a mirco servo's, a 350mah flightpower 7.4 lipo battery with a 6v regulator and an orange rx

the last picture is how i keep the wings on i'm using cup hooks and a couple of pieces of carbon

and this is where the battery goes in the canopy

hardest part now is sitting waiting for the wind to come back to the north or west  :!:  :!:  :!:  :!:  :!:
the wait would drive you to drink

Very nice work as always Andrew !!!!!!
If your off work today you should try the south slope of Bevenagh.
it is very similar to the north slope on Sl gallion, from the car park walk over the wee dam and keep walking south, once you get to the wire fence , low and behold one of the best south slopes in Ireland
I read Bill likes the colour
