Easter Holiday flying.
« on: April 27, 2011, 06:18:51 AM »
Andrew Terry and Robert came down to fly on the North slope of Slieve Gallion. Lift was amazing ! 1750ft of slope and 15mph winds.
Terry put together a lovely wee video of the day.
Thanks to Terry and we hope you can join us again for some more slope fun.

Winds are now forcast for ground speed 32kmph
This means up on the slope 45kmph !
It is going to be a weekend of fun on the east slope !!!!!!!!!!!
There is no walking involved.
Hope to have my Fox ready today.
If I can can get time  :!:

Fred it is about 1hr 40 min drive from Dublin,  travelling at my speed, 1 hr 20 for you !
Donot put yourself under pressure to travel up, if it suits ! you are seriously welcome and so is everyone else.

Try not to run out of airspeed, altitude and ideas....... all at the same time.

But I thought Slieve Gallion was near Moneymore in Co. Londonderry. At least, that’s what it says in my maps!

Not too sure about getting into the same car as you Fred,………I’ve been told you have “wandering glands” …er sorry, that should read, “wandering hands!”

Richard, put me out of my suspenders, where exactly will you guys be flying???
